Farnham Golf Club – Clubhouse Reconfiguration & Interior Renovation

Beckmann Architecture were appointed to reconfigure and upgrade the internal layout of Farnham Golf Club, improving functionality, circulation, and overall use of space within this well-established club setting.

Working closely with interior designer Rory Cashin, we developed a design that balances practical needs with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The reconfiguration included the creation of a new multi-purpose meeting room, offering flexibility for both club business and member events, while optimising natural light and connectivity to the terrace.

The bar and dining areas were completely refurbished, featuring high-quality finishes, custom joinery, and coordinated furniture selections to enhance comfort and visual coherence. The new interior combines mid-century influences with rich textures and a subtle, natural palette—delivering a timeless feel that aligns with the club’s heritage while elevating the member experience.

The result is a refreshed and reimagined clubhouse that now supports the club’s operational needs, social calendar, and long-term ambitions with style and functionality.
